Great news in economic difficult times:
The Aviodrome at Lelystad Airport, Netherlands, which went into bankrupcy in November 2011, will reopen on April 28, 2012.
The themepark/museum which a.o. houses a Douglas DC-2, a Douglas C-54A Skymaster, an L-749A Constellation, a Fokker F.VIIa and around 100 other aircraft, has been taken over by the Libéma Group. This means that its unique collection will stay intact. The overall concept of the themepark will be modernized.
Included in the take-over are all personnel and volunteers.
Cheers,
Maarten
