Though not an apples to apples comparison (Military vs Civilian), I already have the FCS Lancaster which was quite an impressive effort when it first came out years ago, and is still impressive in my book. Note so sure if I'll need a Lincoln to back up my Lancaster, but I'll keep an open mind and read up more about the Lincoln in the mean time.

That is very welcome news! Albeit it is easy to see the family resemblance with the lancaster, the Lincoln sure was a much more refined and in my eyes had nicer dimensions. After looking at the Lincoln, the lancaster almost looks to short.. Some very interesting early post war/ cold warhistory as well. Kenya and Malaya comes to mind.

Interesting choice. The Lincoln looks half way to the Shackleton and I believe many of the static aircraft in the Dambusters film were Lincolns.
