Thanks very much Andrew and John for both these beautiful models and liveries - well done! :applause: :medals:

Hello Andrew. I may be having a problem on my end, but every time I try to fire up the engines, one or both quit shortly afterwards.

I'm also missing the RPM gauge, and I do have it installed.

OK. I figured out the RPM gauge issue. Panel config entries that read "Generic P-38!Sng_Eng_RPM" need to be replaced with "AW P-38_RPM".

Browncoat,

I can't reproduce your start-up problem, but it's nearly always to do with the setting for Engine Start Up Torque in record 505 of the Airfile. I'm guessing PC Hardware must influence it somehow?

The attached zip has two alternate airfiles.

I have the start-up torque set at 0.0475. The CFS 2 stock aircraft are all set at 0.035.

The advice (from other FS, not CFS2 specifically) is that lower values make the engines start more slowly, larger values make them "catch" more quickly.

So one option has the airfiles set at 0.035 (as per the CFS2 stockers), the other option has it set to 0.07 (double the stock value).

Try them & let us know how you get on.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I discovered a small error inside the front landing gear well. I have uploaded the new versions and the missing RPM gauges. Thanks to Browncoat for noticing the missing RPM gauge.

Please download the Version 1.1 update.
