Semi-Historical: On August 17, 1943 the Eighth Air Force conducted two missions to damage Germany's war production capacity and put to rest the debate over the effectiveness of precision daytime bombing. One mission was to destroy the Messerschmitt factory at Regensburg and then fly on to North Africa.
