She is being restored by the National Museum of the U.S.Air force Volunteers.
I think they all deserve a pat on the back for the undertaking of this restoration.:salute:
 
Thanks for these! Will this be a flying restoration or static?

I got to go in one last year, my does that give you some perspective... :icon_eek: I'd love to head out to Arizona and take a ride some time!

This will be a static display as it is the orignal Memphis Belle . It will reside within the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, OH. Also, if you are talking about taking a ride in a B-17, then you need not make a trip all the way to the great state of Arizona for that type of adventure...

There are several B-17 outfits that travel across the country offering rides. ( Okay, 10 months later, and it still stings like you know what... where's that crying, banging head on desk, smiley?
