This folder contains a repaint for the Shockwave Wings of Power B-17G Flying Fortress, representing 42-38201 "2nd Patches", which flew with the 346th BS of the 99th BG from Italy. On a mission to Wiener Neustadt, whe suffered extensive damage, which was repaired using unpainted parts from other aircraft. The name "2nd Patches" was applied since an earlier 99th aircraft was already called "patches". The aircraft crashed on take off on 24 august 1944, killing two crew members. Repaint by Jan...
