I'm in love with the Accusimmed B-17 by A2A but I gotta tell ya it just super nice to crawl into the B-24 now and again. It flies and feels differently than a B-17, probably not as accurate as it should be but still fun. Great sound. It really is pretty nice for the price they are asking. I thought originally it was gonna be a port over but I had no problems running it on Accel and DX10...so it's gotta be the real thing for FSX! I wish there were more cockpit variations, especially color as I have flown on one that had a different cockpit setup but only moderately different. I would recommend it if you just want something a little different.

I agree, it's not the A2A B-17, but it's a very nice model, with great sound, and I had lots of fun painting it:

Not near a gaming computer or I would have...thanks Roger. That is exactly what we need some Roger pics! Especially the VC...I was fairly impressed with it myself.

I just tried to install the FS9 version of the B-24 from A2A,but no luck.
I totally forgot that my last addon from Alphasim was the HU-16 Albatross.
That was the last "thing" i bought from them.
I think,i save my money.

Just as an aside, I'm currently reading 'Unbroken' by Laura Hillenbrand, which is about a B-24 crew downed in the Pacific in 1943. Some great inside info on the B-24, including how it compared with the B-17 and B-29, particulary in terms of survivability (not very well!) It's not really an aeroplane book, but a great read nevertheless.
