B-24J full upgrade uploaded

I'm puting up one of my evolution air files.eva for short. these files fully repair the b24j. It flies true air speed. the plane slows down now when you back off the throttle. minor flap aplication gives lift now. full flaps are spoilerons now. it lands the way it should and has brakeing added. i've add all the present effects.the avh bomb load with the skymarker load outs.and several flare loads. we have so many b-24 standalones and a few missions. looks like its time for this one.it's now a pleasure to fly. enjoy getting heavy!! up when admin. sees it

Oh, so it really wasn't my bad flying then?? And they said they created the FP pack with input from real pilots and by the book or so... The thing not slowing down always made me think I did something wrong.

dumb question on b24j

is this update for the FirePower b24j that can be migrated over to the ETO Expansion 1.2? thanks for sharing!
 
its for the b24j and the standalone addons. any firepower plane can be used in any theater.you just have to swap weapons and sounds.effects if you seperated out the firepower effecr lines.you can move them to any cfs3 install. lol i think the pilots were heavily medicated.and the abicus was still in use.your welcome guys
 
lol its here. everything doesn't become available imediatley once its uploaded.it's been as short as a few min's. and as long as two days. it's worth the wait.
 
I must say this upgrade works GREAT, It has made my B-24 fly as It should..BRAVO to SLIP STREAM for it..I've been flying it and I am truly impressed by Slip Streams abilities..

New B24J and Firepower_USAAF_Heavy_Bomber Add-on

SLIP STREAM. I just loaded your New B24J Air Files and very impressed.

My question concerns the Firepower_USAAF_Heavy_Bomber add-on. The Add-on was based on loading the B17s, B17 Shared,P40 and B24J from Firepower.

If I reload the Firepower_USAAF_Heavy_Bomber add-on? Will the New B24s be based on the New B24J?
 
glad you like it. thats a good question. try it and let us know! i can't figure a reason it wouldn't.are doing it so you don't have to rename files?
 
I tried it. It doesnot work.

I opened ETO in ERA1 and closed it. Deleted the B17f,B17g,B17 Shared and B24J. Uninstalled the Firepower_USAAF add-on.

Reloaded the B17s,Shared and B24J. Added the new Air files to the B24J. I then re-installed the Firepower_USAAF add-on. Then I checked the B24J and found the old air files in use. Replaced the Air files.

Opened ETO in Era 2. The B24J flew with new effects. The B24s added on were the same.

It appears the new Air files for the B24J do not transfer over.

I am just as happy with the New B24J

my guess is that the heavey bomber install. has all its owen air config.+xdp files renamed in the install for each aircraft.to bad the try didn't work.thanks for letting us know. i manually renamed for each plane.

There are many stand-alones, but few missions.

I don't know how many of us have the Firepower add-on. I suspect not everybody does. I for one don't. I'am still hoping that some day some-one will build a simple freeware AI-only version.

L.B.knew you could do it! enjoy the flight. recmoc "it ain't gonna happen". The co. that owens the rights to the b24 won't allow its use without compensation. there is a buildable unit over at beaus site.thats our choices.
 
love the improvement in the B-24 Slipstrem,what about the Me410 next,flies like a pig!.thanks for this great upgrade.
 
happy your enjoying it pete. I had messed around with that one years ago.again the no mission thing for fp planes. so i never went any farther.besides natch. put out the hs129. its close in design.the fire power planes are cfs2 conversions,and working them over and staying in parameters is a real challange with them.
