Wozzar's freeware Texan is a great plane which was later adapted (by fsxar177) to make it into a pylon racer with numerous paint schemes. There are also a couple of payware Texans out there too.

Wozza's T-6 is, Roy Chaffin's B-25 isn't.

So when you not want to put port-overs in your sim, you will miss the great pleasure of flying the B-25 as there isn't a native FSX version available.

Cheers,
Huub

One of the guy's here put me onto Wozza's T6. As mentioned.. you need a few files to get it 'as req' but it's worth the effort. One of the files is mentioned above by Dave but the 3 you'll need are:
fsds_t-6.zip
fsds_t-6update.zip
.. and it's worthwhile getting t6texmod.zip too. There are some beautiful paints for it:encouragement:

A new B25 would be very welcome. I had Roy's years ago for FS9 and I still have the old MAAM model but the MAAM model (in particular) suffers with the usual glass problems. Never tried Roy's model in FSX. It went AWOL some years back.

It's a while since I installed it, but I think the update file I mentioned is the full install. I'm pretty sure the readmes on the others say they aren't needed with the update version.

I think you're right Dave. I've just had a look at the update zip and it contains everything. One note in the readme is that if you had v1.1.. the update isn't required. Otherwise.. it does look very much like the full banana:encouragement:

Dave,

Yes it is!!

I clicked on the download link and the download took about 8 minutes.

I don't know what super internet speed you have, but mine is 12mbps.

This is the best B25 out there so far. I'm lovin' it.

Participated in several multiplayer flights with it, and it is an amazing experience having several of these birds take off and fly together in formation.

You are missing out on a great airplane if you do not have it in your hangar.

Hi Manfred:wavey:

No.. what I meant was, I went to that link to download the model.. clicked on the download link and Windows reported it was already on my HD.. did I want to overwrite it!! I can't remember for the life of me when I downloaded it which makes me wonder just how much more I've downloaded and forgotten about!!!

Haha, that happens to me too Dave,

I download a plane or texture, and when moving it to my network drive, it is already there. :banghead:

Just visited the RCS site and got the B-25J for FSX (Freeware). I am wondering if there's a fix known issues under DX10? I found a thread about this issue in ORBX forum but I couldnt download the fix file (8 files). Any alternatives I can try? Thanks
