b-26 dissapears

Hi all. i have cfs3 spanish and when i update it to 3.0 (spanish) my b-26 dissapears from menu.
Before upgrading i`ve two of them.
Anyone knows what the problem is ?

sorry mate I cant help with the actual problem, have you then added 3.1 and still had the second B26 go missing?

to get around it you could re-install then copy the B26 that dissapears from your aircraft folder to your desk top. then run the patches and then place the plane back into the aircraft folder.

it should then show in your list.

the patches in the english version fixed a few minor issues with the gunners positions in the bombers and a cockpit issue. so putting the B26 that dissapears back into your aircraft folder will not hurt anything and when you fly that plane the worst thing you'll see is a slightly miss-aligned gun site in the gunners position.

Hi Capt. I`ve done that work (copy upload and then paste the folders) and i finally was able to find the two b-26`s. Now when i start the sim i`ve a message like -aircraft model b-26 is already in use two times; one for each b-26 - Do you know how i can modify some file or anything to prevent that messages.

Hi Hugo,

I forgot the B26 folder has two aircraft in the one folder, the B26g and B26c you need to change the actual model files for the plane that is missing in this folder.

If it was the B26g thats missing after patches, then look inside your backed up folder on your desktop (or where ever you saved it) and you are looking for the files that have B26g in there name and the file type is .M3D

b26g.msd
b26g_cockpit0.M3d
b26g_cockpit1.M3d through to cockpit model number 6.M3D
etc

the other file that you may have to include is the B26g.air file, as I think the updated one is possibly set to 2 in the aircraft type which would render the plane invisible in the aircraft list.

select all these files and copy them into your b26 folder in your game and allow to overwrite.

if its the B26c thats missing then same again as above but grab the B26c files of the same name.
