B-26B-30-MA 41-31962 80 Old Iron Sides, 432nd BS, 17th BG, USAAF, Poretta, Corsica, October 1944

The first a/c of this model delivered to this unit. It survived the war and flew 175 combat sorties. This model has the armoured pilot's cockpit, hence the name 'Old Iron Sides'.

The use of the B-26C model is correct, as the late-block B-26B and B-26C were essentially identical.
