B-29 CRASH lost color film

Pretty amazing.
Thanks for sharing!

If you have an aviation museum near you, go now. Many of the tour guides are former military pilots. I toured the MAPS air museum in Canton OH last winter and our guide was a 91 year old USAAF P-51 pilot. He told stories of crash landing in the sea off Formosa and about flying overhead cover in a Spitfire that he was invited to try out.
As a plane nut, I was able to tell him things about some of the planes in the collection that he did not know about, but he completely enriched the visit by his recollections and we both had an excellent afternoon.
Most of his vintage are not going to be doing this much longer, so go listen now while they can still be heard.

Re: Same

That's amazing, usually there are no cameras there to take pictures of planes
going down, much less bombers. Glad he made it. :salute::icon29:
