• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

B-58 Hustler

Amongst the pile of projects that I have going on is an update of a B-58 hustler by Massimo Altieri. A pretty decent model, decent VC (basic, but usable). I have done a new paint template for the plane and have the first paint nearly done...just a few details yet to add. I have regauged the 2D and VC panel, giving the plane distinct gauges for each of the 4 engines. I have plugged in the updated flight dynamics and effects package that Bob Chicilio did for JR Lucinary's Hustler...the plane now flies at 1.5 mach with great stability. I have used Nick Needam's exhaust effects gauge and modified it to turn on Bob's exhaust effects at 80% throttle...making them independant of the lights.

Here are some screenshots (hopefully) of the plane in its current state. Well, after three failed attempts to upload the attachments, I am declaring a defeat in that regard. Jpegs, largest one is 36 kb in size, 900 by 720 image size.
