A Few Late Shots from One of HH's ETO Missions

Getting in on this one a little late, but here are a few glamor shots of this bird from some missions this weekend.

Not the B24 but another masterpiece.


March 1944, coming back to Bordeaux after a 12 hours night patrol over the Atlantic. I spotted a convoy and fired 2 Hs193 but unfortunately, I near missed a cargo due to bad wheather conditions.

I just had an exciting experience with the Ju290 this evening.

Well, after hours of training, I found a good tactic to fire the Hs193 and I finally decided to come back over the Atlantic for a long range patrol at night.

But, while I was still in the Bay of Biscay, I encountered a CC Hallifax. He was in front of me and we were getting closer and closer.... finally, my gunners started to fire at him and, as they were hitting him hard, I decided to continue the attack. This Hallifax was in a really bad condition but I made a mistake by getting too close to him and he replied, I've also been hit!! Engines, structure and fuel tanks damaged, the poor Ju was difficult to fly. I managed to continue the attack outside the Hallifax machine guns range and he finally crashed.

As my aircraft was too damaged, I aborted the patrol and came back to Mont de Marsan where I bailed out, the Ju was too difficult to for a crash landing attempt.


This is my first air to air dogfight with a 4 engine bomber vs another 4 engine bomber, what an exciting moment!!! I'm quite proud of this air kill.

Many years ago a friend and I in CFS used to have online Bomber dogfights..
Yea, we worked out how to out "Slow" each other..

Over the Bay, I've had a few run ins of this kind. The screenies depict a Condor vs Wellington scrap, the Condor's cannon took lumps out of the Whimpey. I've also had the Wellie take out flying boats. The video is one I made two years ago using Nigels stand alone. The fight with the He-111's was loosely based on a real action.
