B307 Cowl Flaps?

Tried this query elsewhere with zero response so far, so I'll see if anyone here has some thoughts.
Thank you.

"Flying the Emerald Harbor Air B307 & trying to find if it has cowl flaps, & if so, where you set them.

From what I can ascertain, IRL, some airlines, possibly TWA, had them, & others didn't.

Anyone know the status of cowl flaps on the MSFS B307?"

Ken Mitchel did a panel for Mike Stone's 307 that had custom code to add drag when the cowls were open. Unfortunately, that code ran in a loop that killed frames.

I can't see something as important as engine cooling being treated as optional by any maker, so my guess would be that all the 307's had them. That said, I could be wrong, and "your mileage may vary."

This, from Wikipedia - "TWA aircraft were fitted with cowl flaps, to adjust engine cooling air, while Pan Am aircraft had fixed cowling rings without cowling gills"
Need to look at the MSFS liveries to see if they have followed the above

No cowl flap controls on the MSFS 307, and from the manual
"This model is designed to be as close to the original1940 airplane, as it was built for Pan Am ( Type Certificate number 719 )"
There is a realism mode on fs.to that I'm looking into, it MIGHT implement Cowl flaps but probably not.

Well, I guess my own mileage varied... Once again, another day, another something I didn't know before!

Had a look through the mod & no mention of cowl flaps, but a hell of a lot of tweaking going on.
If the MSFS 307 was based on the Pan Am, then it won't have cowl flaps.
