• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

George Arana was kind enough to send me his fantastic LifeNet paint for the Nemeth AS-350 helicopter. Now I need a graphics guru to tell me how to get rid of the black windows in the chopper. It's an FS9 model and I'm trying to use it in FSX SP2.

When I first select the helicopter in FSX I can see the windows and the pilot inside, but as soon as the textures load, the windows go black.

If someone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Jim, if I remember correctly, you'll have to find the texture that is for the glass and assign it an alpha channel and then play with it (make the alpha darker) till you can see thru it. Problem is, some aircraft don't have a texture for that. If I had it installed I'd look for you, but I haven't installed many FS9 birds because of this issue.
