• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Well I got my operating system up and running on my new rig last night. After installing drivers etc, the first thing I did was to move my MS games folder over from my portable HD. Plugged in my joystick and did a quick combat in PTO, toasting two Zero's. All sliders were on 5 with no stutter and the detail was awesome. Took my Hellcat for a freeflight over to Tulagi, where I found a seaplane base that begged to be strafed and dusted two seaplanes. This is the the old PTO mind you, when I get home later I'll download the updated PTO/ETO, can't wait to see what it looks like. I haven't even checked my frame rates yet, but the graphics and performance are kind of what I've wished for since the sim was first released. Kudos to all the guys that make these add- ons the wonderful gifts they are! :ernae:
