Back to It - WIP Boeing B-9

My wife and I returned from a grand month long vacation to Holland and Germany a couple of weeks ago. We must be getting older as it took us a full week to really get over the jet lag.
One of the high lights was spending a day with Rob Barendregt and his lovely wife, Lidia. He showed me some things he is developing. The man's ability to control things through XML is amazing.
I started work on a Boeing B-9 before we left and it is now getting to where it can be previewed. I really would appreciate it if someone could come up with any info on the pilot's cockpit. My usual sources are bone dry on the subject.

Thanks, Paul

Welcome back! I had really nasty jet lag going to Afghanistan this time. Oddly enough, coming home I had no problems once I got home. I can't explain that other than my body clock must've been so messed up it didn't care. Usually, going is easier than returning.

The B-9 looks interesting. My hat is off to you for picking such an obscure subject!

Wish I could help you, that era in aviation is one of my favorite.

I've always wished there would be a combat flight sim based on the Spanish Civil war because of the aircraft involved; the transition from the open cockpit, wire and fabric to the enclosed cockpit and metal.

There was Lufwaffe Commander. Too bad it sucked bigtime!

I missed that one but it doesn't sound like I missed much.

I'll speak heresy and admit that I enjoyed Crimson Skies because of it's transitional looking aircraft and themes. Although completely unrealistic, it was different.
