A few images from some backcountry flying in the C-47.
This is Soldier Bar 85U, in Idaho on Big Creek. Serious bush flying. If you have ORBX Central Rockies, you'll see they did a pretty good job with the bumps, curves, and downhill slope. (Take-off downhill, land up)
It's 1,400 + feet by about 15ft wide. Elevation 4190. On A summer afternoon - do the math!
