You got it. I see it. Very sorry to hear about the HD failure. Seems like HD failures are more common these days. Had a couple within the past year myself.... :kilroy:

LMAO, man, those guys REALLY need to find another line of work......away from technology!:icon_lol:

the guy with the fire extinguisher is me, I hate walking into the mens room when some ahole has been smoking!:banghead:

I usually hit the gym and take it out on tyhe punching bag when I feel the need

Yup, HD is what shot on my old Velocity back in June. Saved most all pertinent info with a Symantek Clone Copy when I got my new tower built.Sorry to hear that Prowler, looks like a lot of us get to wear that T-shirt this year.

Sorry to hear that, Ron.

Now, seriously, EVERYONE READ THIS!

  • External 250GB USB drive: $49.99
  • Synctoy: FREE
  • Create an automated task to have Synctoy back up your data folders daily: 10 minutes
  • Knowing you won't lose more than one day's work: PRICELESS

With that combo, you can set up SyncToy to back up the folders you care about every night, and short of someone stealing your drive, a fire, or a destructive virus, you won't lose your data.

There are ways that are even more secure -- buy a second $50 drive and keep it at another location, and swap the drives once a week, or get a Windows Home Server for backup -- but this is a $50 solution that lets you keep a second copy of up to 250GB of data with zero pain.
