Description: Early War Avro Anson skins by UncleTgt

This is a set of repaints for Baldy's Avro Anson Mk1 for CFS 2.

The aircraft are:

YG-B, N5050 502 Squadron RAF January 1940. Early war scheme, no yellow surround to fuselage roundel, & no fin flash. This aircraft crashed during a snowstorm between Rhyl & Prestatyn 19 January 1940.

YG-E, N9269 502 Squadron RAF August 1940. Later scheme with fin flash & yellow surround to fuselage roundel.

502 Squadron during WW2: On 28 November 1938, No.502 was transferred to Coastal Command, converting to Ansons in January 1939. At the outbreak of war, the squadron began patrols off the Irish coast, first with Anson MkIs and then, from August until November 1940, a handful of the truly awful Blackburn Botha MkI. These unsuitable aircraft were quickly withdrawn in favour of Whitley MkVs transferred from Bomber Command from October 1940 onwards.

OY-A, N9908 48 Squadron RAF September 1940: This squadron flew convoy escorts entering/ leaving Liverpool from Hooton Park aerodrome.

Also included, a WIN 7 safe 2D panel, a new airfile & a modified dp with kelti exhaust effects & new loadouts including 100lb antisub bombs.

To install, unzip the download and place your chosen files in the matching folders for Baldy's Avro Anson Mk1 model within the aircraft folder in your CFS2 Main Directory.

Thanks to: Baldy for modelling "Faithful Annie," Peperez & Rami for help in putting together a more sedate airfile.

This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions.

UncleTgt,

You did a great job on these...sorry I could not be of even more assistance with the airfile, she was a tricky bugger! :very_drunk:

New 2D panel for Avro Anson...

Couldn't pass it up... dressed up a bit the old panel for the Avro Anson... to go with Shessi's fantastic new repaints
for a more life-like version... It is layered so it can be used without or with a pop-up
Yoke..

Here they are... available as usual
