A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Skins - Other

Description: Tachikawa ki54C Hickory JAP Skins by UncleTgt

This is a collection of repaints for the ki54C Hickory made by Baldy for CFS 2.

The textures are:

A captured aircraft used for evaluation trials by the US during 1945 (markings added by Baldy).

A single aircraft captured by the Chinese Communists during 1944.

An aircraft of the fledgling Chinese Communist Air Force circa 1947.

A French aircraft as used over Indo-China during 1947.

A North Korean aircraft captured intact by advancing UN forces during 1951.

To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.

Thanks to: Baldy for another unusual aircraft, and Kelticheart for the prop disk, I just tweaked the shading.

This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions.

Brown coloured ki54D ASW patrol aircraft, Kurile Islands 1944-45.

Green wavy camo aircraft in Surrender markings, Lauban, Borneo SEP45.

Amazing that you can continually come up with camouflage references for these rare Japanese aircraft. Great work.
 
Hi Kurt,

It involves a lot of Google time:bee:, plus plenty of cross-referencing photos (usually b & w) & a certain amount of extrapolation from there ...:disturbed:
Maybe I should just get a day job?:biggrin-new:
