It's that time of the year again when we must pay for the bandwith to support our two servers.

If you would like to donate to help keep SOH online and available, please visit the thread here, or just click the donate button above.

You do not need a Pay Pal account to donate. Simply use your Credit/Debit card, or send snail mail per instructions in that thread.

Folks...we are at 63% of this year's target for funding the two servers owned by SOH....SOH.com and SOH.net. For those who do not know, the .net server is our back up server for forums, files and is our free-to-use flight server....meaning you folks can go online and fly multiplayer with your SOH buddies. I haven't flown with anyone...but I have chatted with other SOH members who were flying in a group flight.

I know that things are tight across the board.....folks out of work, folks fearing the loss of work, folks facing ever increasing prices and ever decreasing spending power. I know that very well.....but I WILL be making my yearly donation in about a week....won't be much, but it will help fund the servers for another year.

If you have not donated to help keep SOH.com and SOH.net on the air, please do so if you can. It need not be a big donation....the price of one trip through the burger joint drive through window will do just fine if enough of us skip one high fat, low nutrition burger joint meal and send that money to Ickie to pay for the servers and bandwidth (which is HUGE...we use a TON and a HALF of bandwidth for our uploads and downloads each month).

The due date for the server payments is January 28th. If the full $9,000 needed for this year is not collected by then, the SOH.net server may go POOF and be no more. And it would be a shame to lose that resource for the flight sim community and for the stability of Sim Out-House.

We cannot allow the full price to go unpaid OBIO; where would we go to design, develop and make available our freeware efforts. :kilroy:

How long can you donate?, Im struggling this month but my January paycheck will mean I can donate end of January if thats any good
 
Thank goodness ol' Uncle Sam's Social Security program is still alive and well. Their $$ showed up today and now I can pass some along to SOH. You guys are way more valuable to this hobby than I can put into words.

As my revered grandmother once said about the little ol' lady who p**d in the sea -- "Every little bit helps."
 
Folks...just a reminder that the SOH bills need to be paid on the 28th of this month. Still need about $2800US to reach the amount needed. 14 days.....that's 200 bucks a day needed. If you haven't donated yet, and can do so, please hit the donate button up in the menu bar. Paypal, mail a check (in US funds only)....let's keep both the SOH.com and SOH.net servers up and running.

So.. I noticed the little bar graph at the top, showing the progress of the Bandwidth effort... is now missing. Makes me wonder:

1. Did we make our goal?

2. Did Ickie just remove the bar graph thingee?

3. Where do we stand?

We are at 78% as of now.
