Anyone else notice the Baytower forums super slow? It takes forever to navigate around that site for me argh!
Anyway I'm trying to learn about the RV7 config panel. It's not mentioned in the (imho) incomplete manual.
Specifically I want to know the differences between the DX10/9 models (fps, appearance etc) and the Misc tab: Cruise power... what do those values control? Also the Prop Drag slider... how can I make the power better by increasing the length of the prop? Also are there any options for increased engine power? I understand there's a 200 hp version of the RV7A.
In addition some things that would be nice (I'd pay for these with an exp pack etc): Selectable ASI that shows knots as primary, different looking ASI's, NAV1 instead of HSI, panel light color select-ability, ADF option/RMI, panel colors (which can be changed with some cfg edits at the moment), mentioned above engine HP selections etc..
All of the config options I hoped would have been in an updated manual by now. But the developer seems to have fallen off the face of the earth (I understand he did do a cross country move this fall). For a plane that was lovingly cared for during beta we've seen no updates. I'm still looking for a better backlit RXP GNS530W panel at night... or at least instructions on how to edit the LM file.
