BBC Series "Britain's Ultimate Pilot's-Inside the RAF"

I know this is the wrong place to post this, but I think this is the best place to make people aware of this TV series. I'm assuming only people in the U.K got the opportunity to see this great 4 part series covering the Red Arrows, The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, The Vulcan, Chinook and Typhoon, looking at what goes on behind the scenes during their 2015 display season. You may need to get yourself a Coffee, there's about four hours of film in total!

No, not in this day and age, Ian... :) Can't even remember the days when i could not watch the BBC here in Holland. In fact i probabely watch more BBC programs than i do from my own country's broadcasts. Here we have access to hundreds of TV channels from all over Europe. Lots of rubbish amongst it though. Of course i saw the whole Inside the RAF series. Fantastic ! :encouragement: Did see a seperate BBC series about the Red Arrows not so long ago too.

Jan, I hope you enjoyed it. Unfortunately the BBC's future is coming under a lot of scrutiny from the British government at the moment and could be in jeopardy. It seems they don't like the BBC's independent nature, claiming political bias whenever they show the said government in a bad light!

Like many other things (police, military, NHS etc...) for a Conservative party they don't seem to keen on conserving very much. :biggrin-new:

Yes this was a very good series I managed to pickup through my ISP newsgroup. Shame on YT it is only 360p. Still worthy of a looksee though.
