Is there any way to disable flashing of beacon in virtual cockpit?

Go to the Effects folder of FS9.

Open the beacon effect in question.

Ensure that these parameters are present:

[Properties]
Cockpit=0
VirtualCockpit=0
Spot=1
Tower=1
Map=1

With the reflexion effects but this does not work.

Another solution is to use the beacon effect from PAD: "fxpadbeaconh". It is in all of PAD's later offerings. This one is designed NOT to flash in the cabin. Also most planes actually have a panel switch for the beacon that eliminates the problem but means ya don't have a beacon.
