Beaus in the sand Messerschmitt Bf109g-2 problem

Hi All;

Just wondering if I missed something somewhere. I just installed 'Beaus in the Sand' and thought I'd try a mission to see if I've got everything. The first mission that comes up is 'clobber the coastal ships' and it won't load because it can't find the model: messerschmitt bf-109g-2.

The only g-2 model I have is the 'black six'. Do I need another aircraft or a rename of this one? I''ve gone over the instructions carefully a couple of times just now and can't see where I missed anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

UPDATE: Hang on to yer hats, Lads. I think I've got an airbases.dat problem. The last scenery I put in was the France south and Corsica and I didn't check for anomolies. Tried to fly out of Corsica and the sim won't load.
Cheers.:banghead:

Well, I just don't know

I redid some stuff and checked the scenery out every step of the way. Funniest darned thing. Everything works beautifully until I add the 'beaus in the sand' gsl, which I do last. After that I can't fly from any French or Corsican airfields.

I haven't tried the African or Italian ones yet, but will do that now.

Cheers, :dizzy:

No Joy;

'Failed to initialize database' or similar when I try to load any airfields at all.

I'm stumped here, guys.

cheers;

UPDATE: Just realized that I (for some reason only known to God) keep forgetting to put in the Afnor updates provided with the package. Hopefully this will do it this time.

This is getting rather embarrassing, Chaps.

Alpha_1,

1) Are you still having problems with the Bf-109g?

2) What objects are you missing? :dizzy:

Happy Easter, Rami;

Finally got everything straigthened out. It all boiled down to the fact that I was overtired and rushing through the install. I ran a couple of missions last night (or should I say early this morning) and all is well. No more missing objects, no more aircraft problems.

The Afnor updates you included and that I kept forgetting to add into the mix were the main problem. I also missed the TAF AA files. 'If all else fails, read the instructions' makes a lot of sense. I took too many shortcuts and paid the price.

The missions I flew were excellent and a lot of fun, and the scenery fantastic. Thanks for your hard work on this, she's a beaut; and thanks for checkin' in with me.

Cheers;:untroubled:
