I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that the Hellcat was only engaged during operrationn Dragoon, the invasion of southern France.
If US Navy played a role during Anzio operations, it was most probably with Wildcats.

Hey Nonato,
the F6f is just something I threw in, I have correct F4f missions sent to The ETO/PTO team, along with some Avenger strikes there also..
I have a USN set I put together years ago, for Anzio, I have converted it to ETO and
are sending out the converted missions.
I have TOO Many Missions to send them all out at once..
My friends who test this would shave my feet, and hang me in a tree, arms length from a Bottle of Mead, to get even i'd bet..LOL..
In the past few days I have set up 20 missions in four sets..
All ETO stuff, for the various sites..
2 sets are out now, One set daylite missions Using the TK Do 217 is proving to be a pain getting info for it to make it all historical..
The Last set is just taking up space on my hard drive..
waiting to hear for the men who fly all of this to see if they approve of it all..
Then another set shall be sent to the testers..
Thanks for your interest, You are the history Master along with Led Zeppelin and Prang, and many others..
Once These Missions are all out, I think I'll pass for abit on historical missions there are many ( including you) great mission Builders that have this covered..
And more up and coming builders too I believe..
I'll do some "hysterical" missions for abit..
I like skies full of Birds, in large formations..
So I can crash through them screaming and making funny faces..As My wings are torn off, and I, finish the last drink of Mead before exploding....
Boy, I think I just talked myself into a new mission, Got to go..
