Beech 17 Staggerwing On The Way!

Does anyone know whos doing the flight model on it?? If its Berndt or someone of similar caliber, this is gonna be one very awsome little plane..

Oh yea. . . .memories of the three years I spent rebuilding one from the ground up. Outstanding news.:salute:

Anything new on this? I'm really hoping to see this one come to light.

Me too. This is the first I've heard that Tom is completely rebuilding it. His old one had the wingtips entirely wrong, but this new one is gorgeous.

We need a model 18 too... :173go1:

CR-1 also made a true FSX D-18 with several variants, schemes and two VCs, one period and one modern.

Wrong aircraft, Ferry. I believe Kiwikat was referring to a D-18 Staggerwing :icon_lol:

However, I did not have the one you mention, so I am currently downloading it. It looks to be a very nicely done model!

Larry, now you got me searching for it. Staggerwings are a must have for me!

I may be wrong, (but I don't think so) there's no such thing as a Beech 18 "Staggerwing". The Beech 18 is just that, a Beech 18. The Beech 17 (and all of it's variants) was the Staggerwing.

Wow! The Staggerwing! One of the most buitifull bi-planes in existance! It was on my bucket list to model one of those, but it looks like they are doing an amazing job of it! Will want it for my hanger!

Time to wake this topic once again. Anything new?

While I realize that it may be trendy these days for some parents to post ultrasound images and updates online of their impending baby throughout pregnancy, others just make an announcement when the birth occurs.

FSX gestation periods vary and even gentle prodding will usually not hasten the event.

We know it's in the works, and we even got a peek at the ultrasound this summer. Due date? Even if I knew for certain, how could I say without setting Tom up for unending, pestering questions, or criticism if he missed the rumored date?
As of yesterday at 10:30 MST it was still a WIP.
