Beech 99 ils problem

I have the nifty PAD Beech 99 for fs9, and for some odd reason the ils bugs on the HSI aren't working. The localizer is ok, but the glide slope stays in one spot.

Anyone else with this problem? Or is it just me?

I've tried a couple of different airports with different freqs, and other aircraft work as expected.

I don't know if I had a problem, but on checking my panel config it references the PAD C414 HSI so it looks like I swapped it out (both the 2D and VC)

Do you remember without going through hoops of fire where did you find that gauge???

yep. the PAD Cessna 414. It is in one of the cab files from that aircraft.

Alternatively, it is visually the same as the HSI in the default Beech Baron and I can see no immediate reason you couldn't just use that one.
If you don't have FSPanel Studio you can edit the panel.cfg in Notepad - two lines need to be edited

in the 2D section - [Window00] and the VC section - [Vcockpit02]
This:
gaugexx=C414Gauges\c414_inst!Horizontal Situation Indicator, 248,509,140,138

becomes this:
gaugexx=Beech_Baron!Horizontal Situation Indicator, 248,509,140,138
where "xx" is the actual gauge number as it exists in each section
Save, reload the aircraft to load the modified panel and test...

If you DO elect to d/l the C414 for FS9 and fly it, note there is a fix on the PAD website for the artificial horizon

Used the Beech Baron hsi, and it works just as you said it would.

Thanks for your help.
