Best Screenshot Program for Vista?

It appears my trusty old Martin Wright Mgrab program doesn't work in Vista...

Any help would be appreciated. I'd like the ability to get multiple screenshots during a flight.

I use FS Screensaver with my XP. I think it'll work in Vista too. It's nothing fancy and not a resource hog. Takes as many screenshots as you want as long as it's running. Only bad thing is that it saves as bmps and you need something to change them to jpg. For that I use an old copy of HyperSnap. I've used both since back in 2000 and like em both.

If you want to try it PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.

I haven't found one that will take screenshots (with a dual monitor set-up) while in full-screen mode. Have a couple that work fine in Windowed mode.
Currently using Gadwin Printscreen 4.4 (free)

MGrab does work with Vista. It does on my Vista system
However if you have set the save folder to a "Protected" location (like in Program Files)then UAC will stop it writing the files.
Either change the save folder to a non-protected location OR change the properties->Compatibility of the mgrab program or shortcut to "Run this program as an administrator"

or, do what most people who use Vista and have a decent handle on operating a PC do - turn UAC off all together. :)

I use Fraps for all my screenshot-taking needs...

Personally, I use Snapshooter 2007.
Works fine with Vista.

Yep, until I moved to Windows7 then it quit working.

This thread should have been called "What's your favorite Screenshot Utility" as seldom is there a consensus when it comes to opinions on "what's the best".

Martin,

Did as you said and changed the properties. However, where did you put the mwgfx.dll? I'm trying to run it and it says it can't find the dll file.

Not a problem, now let's see some interesting screenshots with your "new" screencap proram. :ernae:
