beyond a machine limit

I think all of u have noticed that some planes, when pushed beyond their limits "tend" to lose wings or tails...that is only normal I suppose!
just I wonder where these limits are written and if one can modify these...

Some of the limits are in the aircraft.cfg and others are in the .xdp file for each aircraft. You'll need to consult the relevant SDK for explanations of these settings, but for all I know, others may be in the flight model - the .air file - and you'll need more than Notepad to view that.
