Bf109G-6AS 1.NJGr10 23 August 1944 Moskito hunting - Bf109G-6AS 1.NJGr10 23 August 1944 Moskito hunting

This mission is inspired by Friedrich-Karl Müller, commander of 1./NJGr 10 during July and August 1944 who obtain his first (and maybe only) Mosquito kill of the war in the night of 23 August 1944. You will take off from Bonn-Hangelar and patrol over Cologne and its surroundings and intercept one of those elusive plane. With the searchlights of the Kammhuber Line you should be able to catch one, hopefully...

In this mission, for the German side I am using the great Messerschmitt Bf109G-6/AS...

My first nightfighting mission for the ETO, more planned with twin-engine fighters. This specific Bf 109 by Team Daedalus is one that really stood out to me with this camo, I had to make a mission with this one. I am using Brunosk Mosquito in this mission, you can use some skins available here at SOH for this plane or use some Mosquitos by PBurnage with some skins made by him or fde_bressy. Also the Kammhuber Line and Searchlights and City Fires sceneries by Shessi are so good and helpfull for night missions over Germany, they are really making things easier in the MB. I am working little by little for the next ones, it's a little harder as I don't have the same knowledge/sources as for the PTO/Japan but it's still fun :jump:

Again this mission is not perfect, feel free to modify/change everything you want. Hope you will like it and don't hesitate to give your remarks/feedbacks/rants etc.

In this mission, for the German side I am using the great Messerschmitt Bf109G-6/AS 1./NJGr 10 by Design Team Daedalus. The camo is the first thing that stood out to me when I saw this plane. As nightfighting during WW2 is something quite fascinating (but dangerous, for both sides), especially Wilde Sau, I really wanted to make a mission with this plane.

For the British as it's a Moskito hunting mission I am using some Mosquito of course. I am using Bruno "brunosk" Escaravage BSK_Mosquito_V4. You can also use some skins by RobH.
You can also use some Mosquitos by P.H.F.Burnage pburnage like his nfiigen (intruder/nighfighter with or without radar) with skins by himself available at SOH or simviation.com (search with "burnage" as keyword) and/or his BIVgen (bomber/recon) with some skins like Mosquito BIV FHS texture at SOH/simviation and/or a skin and a dp by fde_bressy in his Mosquito skinpack 1 (take the RAF-De Havilland Mosquito B.Mk.IX).

For sceneries/scenery objects/vehicles I am listing everything I am currently using in my ETO install
There are quite a download to do for objects but follow the readme files of the different sceneries and you should be set, everything should be available in the CFS 2 Library Objects section here at SOH https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/resources/categories/cfs-2-library-objects.227/
I will put some links to I think most of the things needed for a ETO install and some that I may use in my missions (sceneries, scenery objects and vehicles).
In this night mission The Kammhuber Line and Searchlights and City Fires sceneries by Shessi are mandatory of course, they are just too good. They really add the good atmosphere for nightfighting.

I am using some vehicles by Captain Kurt from his Luftwaffe airfield vehicles pack and some 88mm Flak gun by UncleTgt (GER_flak18grau_dplyAA_UT) in his GER_88mm_sdkfz7_UT pack.

I am using some objects by Wolfi, Xavierb and maybe some default ones for the target of the bombers. I am also using some vehicles by Captain Kurt from his Luftwaffe airfield vehicles pack.

Thanks again to Cody Coyote for his Mission Building Handbook.

Thanks to all the creators of every objects, aircrafts, skins, scenery etc used in this mission, I hope I didn't forget someone and that I was clear enough in this readme. Please see the readme of the different downloads.

I tried to make this mission accurate, historical and enjoyable as much as possible but it is certainly not perfect so feel free to modify or change anything and everything in this mission.

This mission is freeware and should be available only on sim-outhouse.org.
