Just in case you missed it the first time around, here's a short video showing off the new Harvard Mk II post-war version.

I own Texans & Havards Vol. 1 for FS2004 and thoroughly enjoy it. According to your April 13, 2010 post:

For folks who already own the FS9 Texan/Harvard package - this will be a free upgrade. For those wanting to purchase the package - the price will remain the same as it is now.

Is this still the case?

Cheers,

N.

If you bought with us you can use your previous product key to reinstall the product. If you bought with another vendor you will need to wait a few days for me to get it out to all of them. As for the price I actually reduced the price by $7 from what it was originally.

Thanks for the info. My disc was actually given to me as a Christmas gift and was purchased by my sister from FlightSim.com's Pilot Shop. Looking forward to the update as you and your team did a splendid job with the Six.

Wow, going to download the update now. I've had V1/1.3 since release, and really enjoy them.

You guys who don't have this yet, you're really getting a bargain with the new package and lower price.

Thanks Cerberus :applause::applause:

Just courious, do you need to uninstall the prior version first before loading up the new one?
I believe I got Vol 1 from Flight1.
How soon until the update is available from them?

It's best to uninstall the original first. I doubt you would have any major problems if you installed over everything except for some extra unneeded files left here and there taking up space on your harddrive.

If you bought using Flight 1 then you got it off of our website and can get the update right away. We are the only Flight 1 vendor for this product. Just have your product key, 4 digit password, which is usually the last 4 digits of the credit card you used, and then click the Reinstall button after you run the installer.

WASP version not included in update

It should be noted that the new update does not include any models of the WASP piloted AT6-D. So you might want to keep that folder separate from the others when you are removing the old version of the files.

About a year ago we made a special package of the WASP piloted AT6D available exclusively through the WASP museum in Sweetwater, Texas. Since 75 percent of all monies collected is kept by the museum, it should be considered a fund raiser for them. The other 25 percent ($4) is suppose to be sent back to us to cover the cost of making and shipping the CD's.

Thanks for the info. I grabbed it this morning. Very nice. Haven't tried the carrier yet.
Just was enjoying the new SNJ-4C. :applause:
Looking forward to seeing some nice repaints for it!

Making landings on the FS9 USS Monterey with the new SNJ-4C

One of the keys to making a good landing on the USS Monterey is giving yourself a lot of headwind over the flight deck. Go into your weather settings and have the wind coming from 270 at a speed between 16 to 20 knots. This will make up for the fact that the carrier isn't really moving like it does in the FSX version.

Enjoy

Thanks for the update! :salute:
I had to make use of the password recovery tool by Flight1, but everything fell nicely into place.
Very nice work on the gauges and sounds!

As for the repaint contest:
Count me in! :jump:
I especially appreciate your idea to make even non-customers participate by using the 'stripped' free version. That's a nice gesture!

Think my contribution will bear a kiwi... :newzealand:

Cheers,
Markus.
