I've build a semi historical mission, there are not too many aircrafts in the air for lower end computers.

28 March 1945_ 78th FG_Duxford.
Good morning chaps, this will be a very long trip today. You are assigned to an escort duty, the target is an oil refinery at Berlin. Your mission is to cover the Big Boys during their bombing run, others FG will be in charge to protect them on their way to Berlin and back home.
Join the B17s at waypoint 4, aproximately 10NM W from the target at around 1 PM. Take in charge a box of B17s from waypoint 4 to 6, 5 is the target. Once you've reached waypoint 6, about 10NM SSW from the target area, you can leave the B17s, a P51 FS will replace you. From there, you can dive to around 5000 ft and start your way back home. Do not warp between waypoints 4 to 6. If you still have some ammo left, engage any opportunity target on the ground or in the air on your way back home.
-> Intelligence
The war should be ended within a few weeks, our boys have crossed the Rhine and are advancing quickly through Germany.
You will start your engine at 6:30 AM, it's still rather dark outside so wait until you see the green flare before you take off.
Keep your eyes wide open, Luftwaffe have been very active around Berlin the past few weeks. Beware of these nasty 262s, they are terrible for our bombers. Moreover, Berlin's flack is so thick you can walk on it so try to stay away.
Expect low altitude clouds during most of your trip which is bad news for you because the B17s may have to chose a secondary target and in such cases, the box could split and the job for you will be much more complicated.
Take care of your fuel quantity. Once you'll have dropped your babies above Berlin, you will need 75% of remaining fuel in your internal tanks to come back home. You will land near the coast at Rackheath to refuel.
Required downloads:
ETO Expansion V1.02
Recommended downloads:
P51D-25 Mustang from AvHistory. This mission is designed to be played with stock CFS3 aircrafts and ETO Expansion add on but, as the stock CFS3 flight model is rubish, I strongly recommend to fly this mission with the Big Beautifull Doll available at AvHistory. The player aircraft can be changed in the briefing menu.
