Big Money for Old Apples

I've got an old Apple Lisa(non working-but could be made to work) and my old TI 99/4A and four floppies, Speech Synthesizer, Disk controller, RS232 Controller, Thermal printer...would you believe it still works. In storage I have an old Tandy 1400LT laptop(luggable) with all the disks including DOS3.2 loaded...still works! Wish I still had my old Sinclair ZX-81 bought it in 81 as a kit.

Great thread! It kinda makes me sick to think of how much money I have put into computers though! Oh well, I've had fun.

Me too! Think of it as an addiction....one of the lesser evil ones :d

It *is* an evil one!

Do you know how often I've cut myself on my PC's case? *Grr*

If you're asking yourself "Well, why don't you just get a new case then?" now:

Money spent on case = money missing for the other components.

It's all about priorities...:d

Björn (still using an IDE DVD-RW drive) :d

Wonder what the going rate is for a working Commodore 64 system with 3 disk drives and a color dot matrix printer?

That's why I said "one of the lesser evil ones" :d

Cut's from PC cases??? Evil??? You don't know how good you have it! I finished repairing my LCD TV today and managed to [LINESTRIKE]stupidly[/LINESTRIKE] accidently touch a live component with the little finger on my right hand.

Now.....electricity......THAT's Evil! :pop4::isadizzy::icon_lol:

btw...nearly all of my optical drives are IDE....my HTPC is the exception with a Sata Blu-Ray/DVD-RW

Wonder how much I could get for my Apple IIc with an Applewriter printer? Not even sure the thing works any more.
