My rig has been down for quite some time, I replaced my MoBo with a bit of an up-grade and put my old Nvidia 6800 card in, not knowing that when the old MoBo died, it fried the video card. The AGP slot on the new MoBo burnt out from having the bad card in it. I had to buy a Pci card ,a Ati Diamond 9250 no less, and I'm appaled at the frame rates. I'm getting 20's, with sliders on 2, forget what I'm getting around airfields, it's atrocious. Anybody ever use this card, have tweak ideas etc, I can't afford a new rig, at this rate, I may have to load CFS2 on it just to get my rocks off :bs:
 
Is your 6800 a BFG? You might still be able to RMA it and get a modern card. They're having a free AGP upgrade to a PCIe 9600GT or $50 upgrade to a 9800GT. My 6800 has been in a box with dead fans for a few years when I stumbled upon the news earlier this week in another forum. They must have excess inventory.
