Bill Holker Canberra source files

Long shot here - do any modellers out there happen to have Bill Holker's old Canberra source files? Bill lost his in a system crash a couple of years ago, and I'm looking to update his to a new build. I have full permission from him to do so, and he thinks an Italian or Swedish designer might have them.

If anyone can help, I'd be VERY grateful (I won't have to start from scratch!)

Huh - that would be great!

I'd love to do this one on that old gal:
It's the Luftwaffe 99+34. After an engine fire in 1991, the wings of a former RAF TT.18 were mounted without renewal of the paint. Looks odd, but nice!

I hope you can obtain the source code!

G'day Steve...

Still looking for a contact, but the name "Lars Fors" from Sweden comes to mind. He did the Swedish Canberra using Bill's model as a base. I will see if I have an email address for him and if I find it, I'll send you a PM.

Well, fear not Markus my friend, as we've got that one covered for the excellent Paul Foster Canberra (it's over at Classic British Files). I have to agree; it's odd, but I thoroughly enjoyed repainting it!

Huub and Blackbird, thanks for PMs, I have replied and will see what Lars Fors can turn up...but I have a sinking feeling Bill just gave him the final model...fingers crossed.

Looks awesome! I'm glad you already did it. The remains of the RAF roundel look terrific - I always prefer a 'worn' appearance on a hard working aircraft...

It's not too easy to find a specific file over at CBF, but in the end I managed to get it. While browsing for it, I came across the sound pack for the lovely DH Dove (up to now, sounds were aliased to the default Comet). Hard to decide which plane to fire up first...

Glad you found it, Markus, I know what you mean about it being tricky to find some files at CBF but at least you had some parallel success with the sound pack find.

Painting her up with the worn-away RAF roundel was a treat; I feel the same about weathered appearances on planes. I love dirt and grime in panel lines...
