Hi all....does anybody know where I can find Bill Sponge's drivable tanks available for download?? The only files I could find are at Combat Flight Center, but I just get unable to open errors when I try to download the files there.....I was installing some exciting looking DPC Korea missions and they are on the need it list....

Thanks...and happy holidays

Unfortunately I have only a King Tiger Tank from Netwings which I acquired a while back before the site shut down.

If you want it please let me know as it is the only real tank I have in my inventory.

HouseHobbit........... Thanks for the link, freeware CFS3 does have alot of drivable vehicles.....and it appears that they have the machines that I need....have you installed these versions in place of Bill Sponge's files before, or do I have the honor of being the test bunny and first to learn if they are recognized by the mission files properly, or just crash the sim when it tries to read them?

Autothrottle...........Yes I would definitely like the King Tiger model you have. The German engineers of the late 30s and early 40s designed and built some pretty impressive machines.....and I am sure I can find somewhere in my 5 CFS3 installs (CFS3, CFS3 Firepower, ETO, PTO, and DPC Korean Skies) to spread some holiday cheer and discontent with one of those bad boys.....if the file is small enough for email, PM me and we can exchange addys..... Thanks

Joshua................ My friend, how is the official Cannuck tester for the hi-res visuals development team doing? Are you still using the mountaincable.net addy? I'll drop you a line there and be happy to have whatever armor you want to share with me...

Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good flight.............

I have the driveable stuff from PhillipM's loaded with the others, you may have to change a Model name or two because some have the same model names..As some other peoples' driveable stuff, I have close to 80 gig in my set up..So I have to sometimes set things up alittle differently, so it will all work well together..I use a Hex editor, and notepad to make any changes needed..
PhillipM's stuff is truly Great..Lots of items to choose from
I know that the vehicles from here are worth the effort..
I have been using PhillipM's stuff some time in my missions and they work GREAT..Never has there been a problem..
I can recommend his work to be of the Highest Order..

80 gigs of addon vehicles?? Dayum!!! Thats quite a collection. I hope these tanks of Phillips are great, I have been downloading them for three hours and they are only 50% done, the freeware site is restricting my DL speed to about 6.5Kb/sec........

I can dig up some of BillSponge's stuff if you PM me your email address.
Its a hell of a lot of fun driving around shooting stuff. If you start off in QC mode having selected a tank (they sit in the "aircraft" folder and so are selectable in QC), all the territory surrounding the selected airfield is "enemy". So you can whip across the apron and start shooting at the spawned enemy vehicle columns as they drive past.

Lots of fun! :jump:

Please I think you mis-understood, I have about 80 gig total in my CFS3 files..Not just the vehicles..LOL.That would be a quite a feat..LOL...I am learning slowly G max and at some point I hope to give back to all here that have Blessed me so greatly..

hi-res visuals -rouge ,,,,,they rock for me and my machine

these work , guess its all in your system ,,but for me is real worth while addon fixes alot and tweaks those little details

many tks

Daiwilletti......I will send you my email addy forwith...thank you so much...I was looking forward to the vehicles HouseHobbit reccomended.....but the freeware site throttled back my DL speed so bad the file keeps timing out and self-cancelling before it gets past 70% complete......I know its not my connection, average DL speeds for files I pull off the net directly run around 800 to 1100Kb/sec for me, and when I fire up my torrent client I can usually hit 2600Kb/sec or better......guess I have to wait till Phillips tanks are uploaded to the Pirate Bay......lol.....

Thank you

AWWWW.... Man HouseHobbit, you should have seen the mental image of what your CFS3 installations...and available missions and QC options...not too mention the computer they ran on.....looked like....when in my mind they were all proportional to an 80Gb driveable vehicle folder....I pictured 6x 40" LED displays, connected to a quad SLI rig that stood about 8 feet tall.....running at 9.9Ghz...with about 20Gb of super duper RAM....a 5 terabyte SATA 20,000 rpm HDD.....and CFS3 was not just installed...it was the whole damn operating system... a real Paul Bunyan meets the Red Baron kind of experience.... Wouldn't that be fun for a day??

80Gb is still pretty impressive, even if its all the CFS3 files, installs, expansions, and apps you have collected... I have a little over 16Gb now, after 2 years of being a member here, and seeing just how much more is available than the 2 cd box set from MS headquarters in Redmond....and I get lost in my own HDDs sometimes, trying to keep the saved files and active stuff seperate and organized...

If I had a marketable product.... Joshua....you would be the salesman that would made me my first million.....

LOL.....I gotta go strap a GunVal to my backside and get my head back in the clouds for a while.....YEEEEEHAWWW gotta love the DPC Korean Skies boys....
