'Birds Do The Darndest Things'...

I used to work at a slaughter house as a young man and I learned early not to open my mouth when looking up. Good thing cow dung is not fatal. :cost1:

I have had the misfortune of catching a mouthful of bird poo twice in my life. Once while watching the A-7 Corsair IIs of the Ohio Air National Guard do an improvised airshow in the airspace surrounding our house. I was explaining to my niece and nephews about the planes, looking up and talking when a crow just happened to add its "two cents" to my narration. The kids enjoyed watching me gag on crow poo more than they did watching the OANG pilots do rolls, precision flybys and mock dogfight maneuvers.

The second time was during a basketball game....finals of a local basketball league. I had just sank a shot from the half court line and was doing a celebratory "Heck Yeah" when I took a direct hit in the back of the mouth from a passing avian. Nothing spoils a great sports moment like a large dollop of hot bird crap in your mouth.

OBIO

Buzzard poop at 60 mph on my bike.....fortunately my mouth was closed and I was wearing goggles.
