Black Box Sim Britten Norman Islander v2.x.x Now Available

First impressions are quite nice! There are a couple of very minor texture flickers in the long-nose that I flew, but they're in the rear of the plane and will normally never be seen. The only functional quibble I found is the pair of OBS knobs on the Nav1 and Nav2 indicators. The function in reverse, both in relation to the click-spot curved mouse pointers, and the mouse wheel. It took a couple of tries to get used to that, but I can live with it until BBS can update that. There are a couple of other things, like having a Trislander placard in the overhead instead of the Islander, but BBS is already aware of that.

Also, if you're using the PMS GNS530, make sure you have the latest from GitHub. The .to site is still on 1.0.48, while 1.0.50 is on GH. The 48 version doesn't function correctly. Reading through the notes on the .to d/l page, it appears to be the sim that broke it, and not just this plane.

That second one is small, but it makes a big difference.
 
Just announced earlier today, v2.1.2 will put the correct Islander placard on the upper panel to replace the Trislander placard, and replace the solid triangle heading bug on the gyro compass with something more accurate. Image taken from author's post on the official forum...
