Black patches on waterways

Dimus

SOH-CM-2025
Never seen this happen before:

Black squares on inland water, as if the textures do not load. As you move they appear and other areas go black. So far it happens only in an area in South of France north of Marseilles. Does not happen in the ocean ore even a little bit to the east in the Italian lakes.

Any idea what is causing this?

Just taking a wild guess here as I do not have P3D. But looking at the pic could it be a reflection of the
mountain range. It seems that the black area's line up with the peaks on the range as you look off into
the distance. I was going to say maybe a shadow, but looking at the hangers on the airfield it couldn't
be that.

Dimus,
I have those as well from time to time and they only showed after installing FTXGlobal and Global LC. No idea what causes it and so I just ignore them.

It's definitely not a mountain reflection as it appears in other places as well and the patterns is square.

Ed, I also have Global, Vector and LC Europe installed in these shots. I wonder if they have something to do with this. Well, I won't bother too much with it. Thanks!

Got a very quick answer from Holger that the problem lies with Global Vector and the automatic freezing function of lakes and waterways which is sometimes incompatible with P3D v2. He suggested this to be deactivated and the problem would go away.

Not at my sim pit at the moment but will try it in the evening and let you know if it works.
