Is there a Blackburn Blackburn or an Avro Bison for FS2004?
They look quite interesting.

These are typically models you would expect from Ted Cook, but he hasn't done them so far.... :biggrin-new: The Boulton-Paul Overstrand is perhaps a nice alternative....

But take a look at his site - Bristol 138A high altitude aircraft recently up. Anyone remember the 1960s FROG kit .....
 
Thanks, I missed the Bristol, & I have most of Ted's planes.
But these look great, with their ugly-ness. I thought that the French had a few uglies, but these from the Brits are pushing boundries.

I remember that Frog kit. I never built it, but I have it in my basement.

It's finally dawned on me that I'm never going to build all those kits I have stashed away, and I'm trying to find a way to dispose of them with a reasonable amount of effort.

There was a time back in the 1920s-30s when British designers seemed to be competing to produce the ugliest airplanes. Then the French joined the competition and won it easily, so the British started making pretty planes instead.

The Junkers Ju87, especially the A series, did not really be candidates for the nicest girl on the beach competition
Or the bomber Ju 86 difficult to call her a beaty queen
