Blimp

Was watching that Speed-Hub show, and the Goodyear blimp driver says that when the "pack" thunders by at Daytona, he can feel it from 500 feet up in the blimp. Is that not amazing? He says the sound "rattles" the ballon. That's cool.

maybe thers something to that old thing about the weather vortex......get the cars up to speed and the air starts to circulate above the speedway and will keep the rain away........maybe benny wasnt nuts afterall.....

Hey all,

There is so much about air we don't know. The problem is that it is invisible.

We know some of the impacts are huge and beyond anything anyone would have thought - for example irrigation in the san joaquin valley of california definitely increases Colorado river flow or the heat island effect of cities impacts weather for hundreds of miles downwind.

The heat and air disturbance from 43 cars affecting a blimp does not surprise me at all.
