Blue steel Bristol B-188

Where in the world did you find THAT?!! :icon_eek: :icon_eek: As far as sounds, I would try using the a sound pack from a B-58 Hustler. No clue on the AB effect, perhaps similar to an SR-71? Kind regards, Jeremy AKA Birdy

Well, isn't this thing just the poo. Just did some circuits at Edwards; engines seem a little lazy but flies very nice. Fantastic sim!

This is a pretty neat plane I have to admit. Any chance I could get a copy of those textures you made? ----Birdy

There still a WIP I'll try and tidy them up and post them up in the Library over the next few days I'll warn you they are pretty rough this is my first attempt at doing polished metal reflective photoreal textures and its been hard to find pics of it ouside but I can always revisit it again later once my skills have improved

Really looking forward to you paint job Hooky! She is a great flyer!
Should you still be looking for a great AB effect, then why not try fx_Miro_AB, from their fantastic Mirage III.
No fuss with resizing etc., just repositioning in the light section of the cfg.

light.xx= 9, -6.565, -7.291, 0.125, fx_Miro_AB

As for the sound, I use the 'definitive' F-4 sound by Nigel Richards, available here in the library.

Stuart that's brilliant mate will try that when I get home. I had another idea about the sounds but It will take some doing

I found this yesterday

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hk5ltcqj6IM

This is the first Video I've ever seen with two running Gyrons and as far as I know these two are the only running pair left.
Anybody got any home footage of these we could get some soundbites from?
