Hi all

Although after my switch back from 2024 to 2020 I am generally very happy with the Sim I am still frustrated with some of the scenery replication in 2020. This doesn't seemed to have evolved at the same pace as other aspects. This is a flight I did to re-visit the quality of texturing in mountains and oh boy it is depressingly poor. This is the area around the LSMM Meiringen Air Base. The rock faces are blurred and the snow covered trees look FS9 quality. I'd be interested to know if others see the same as me 2020 and also (if we can cross-thread) if 2024 is doing a better job yet in this area.

It may just be slow loading. Unless you keep a manual cache of a given area, much of that terrain is streamed on demand. I know I've seen better on flights from Innsbruck to Sion.
 
Ensure the World Update for Swiss is installed...
The area around Meiringen is quite detailled, and the mesh becomes really impressive when flying low in the pass that goes to Grindenwald: every big boulder on the grass fields has a bump !
