Blurry terrain textures

So I am using the latest version of P3D, version 3.2.3 or something like that. I am experiencing blurry terrain textures, regardless of aircraft and speed. Does anybody have a good tip to minimize the blurryness? I should add the I use Orbx Global and regional sceneries.

I did not experience the same level of blurryness in V3.1.

Thanks for asking the question - I have a similar question . At height all is ok but on the ground the ground textures are blurry . Running Orbx and P3.2. Texture resolution 2048.
(hope this is not a thread hi-jack ! but an answer may cure both ills. )
Cheers

I didn't install Orbx when I installed V3.2. I am using UTX and Global vectors. I don't have any blurring issues.

Are you sure you aren't just going too fast? ;) You know you are supposed to stay below 250k below 10,000 feet. :)

How much are you confident with tweaking p3d.cfg?
There are some tips that can avoid this probmem,or surely minimize it.

Any chance of a pm ! ...lol

Just did that I have a couple of slots free :D

Ok,I normally do not have much time, but if somebody needs a help, just write me a PM,let's see what's possible to adjust.
I think in next days I will write a little "do list" for the most common tweaks (and mistakes) for p3d.
Obviously, use it at yor own risk (even if there is not a significant danger that your computer will burn in flames).

Honestly, the farther away from V2.5+ that I have gotten, the less impressed I am with what I see. To be fair, I am probably limited by the system I have which will not be updated, so it is what it is. Still since going from 2.5 to the 3.0+ series I have not really noticed any huge difference other than the loss of clarity in the ground textures. While I understand that there are limits in speed and altitude concerning how sharp things remain on the ground. . . .with 2.5+ I could fly below 5000' above 250kts and never see blurry ground textures. All that is gone now. I don't want to say it's as bad as FSX was, but it doesn't seem to maintain sharpness like it did. I would go back to 2.5 and be totally happy with that if I still had it available to me.

You should still have 2.5 in your Purchased Downloads at LM. I just checked my account and have both 2.5 and 3.2.
You'd be correct IF I had purchased it, however I was paying monthly on a Developers license. . .I never kept a copy of the original download and when my Debit Card was lost (and the monthly payment failed to post on time) they killed the License. When I was able to use the new Card I decided to quit blowing money on a monthly charge and just purchase. . .2.5 was long gone by then as an available purchase.

Ale, thanks for taking your time to put something together. It would be great for the group to have it in an open posting, me thinks. We have a sticky post regarding performance and tweaks - would you mind adding it to the list?

Cheers,
Mark
