BMP to DDS

I have FSX Acceleration, after downloading some converted airplanes and installed to FSX I found that textures did not show up, reading around I found and tried many solutions (including Martin Wright softwares) without success....
what I have exactly to do?

If you have Dx10 preview mode checked, port-over textures will not show. To show them uncheck the Dx10 preview box.
