BN-2 Islander - Problem

I like the Islander very much - but i have a problem with her - after a few minutes in flight or after i switch to another livery or between the sn- and pn-model my screen freeze and i need to start the Task-Manager to get the message "Lisence-Key invalid, please contact the customer-support".

I have done this, delete all files, redownload the Installer, get a new lisence-key, install it again,
restart the PC and nothing help - the message occurs every time i try to fly the Islander.

Someone else have this problem ? Ideas what cause this problem or solutions ?

I would like to fly her a bit longer than only a few minutes ........:jump:

I did in fact catch a glimpse of that warning for a brief second yesterday, but it disappeared, with no further problems.

I'm sure these forums are being monitored by those with more insight into what may be occurring.

Hopefully it will get it straightened out before long.

These issues have to be considered case-by-case in order to work a resolution, if the issue continues to present itself.

I speak from inside knowledge, not just on a helpful basis.

Dirk- I've popped you a PM.

Best
Dan.

Dirk, that happens here too....

Not after a while though but immidiately after i select another livery. I use full screen so at first i didn't know what was happening because the " License Invalid! Please contact customer support " warning didn't show. I then hit the Windows desktop key and there it was. I simply clicked OK, went back into FSX and everything's fine.

Works everytime i select another livery but i've seen them all now so for me no issue anymore,i'll just stick to the one i like best. :) ( saved a flight with this particular Islander and it will turn up without the warning message popping up )

Hopefully there will be a fix for it eventually...

Cheers,
Jan

Just to let you all know - nothing new at the moment - Dan working on a solution and I think he can sort that out. Looking forward :mixedsmi:

Otherwise a great plane - i like her very much !!!!

Dirk

Forget to say - yes you are right Javis - the error-message occurs only after switching between the liveries or another Plane and the Islander. Flying her is very funny and she is great to handle. A real "workhorse".
