Five laps into his maiden run on an oval Monday evening at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Robert Doornbos was feeling a little out of place.
"I thought why in the hell did I sign up for this, it's insane," he related.
But fast forward, literally to Tuesday night, after he'd run 131 laps and turned the seventh fastest lap of the 20 drivers in the Indy Racing <NOBR id=itxt_nobr_2_0 style="FONT-WEIGHT: normal; FONT-SIZE: 100%">League's </NOBR>first test session of the year.
